ISSS Travel Grants for Fellows, Residents and Medical Students – Apply Now!

The International Surgical Sleep Society (ISSS) is pleased to announce that Travel Grants are now available to support medical students, residents and fellows worldwide in attending our upcoming annual meeting. These grants aim to foster global participation, highlight exceptional research, and promote equity in access to professional development opportunities.

Who Can Apply:

Travel grants are open to medical students, residents and fellows globally. We will request applicants to indicate the country in which they are currently training and the country from which they are traveling.

Grant Criteria:

• Abstract Submission Required
  All applicants must submit an abstract to be considered for a travel grant.
• Award Based on Quality and Need
  Grants will be awarded based on the quality of the research and demonstrated financial need.
• Mentor Letter of Recommendation
  A letter of recommendation from a mentor is required and must be submitted with the application.

Who Can Apply

• Physicians from low-income countries, as classified by the World Bank

Grant Criteria

• Physicians whose main practice is focused on Sleep Medicine and Sleep Surgery
• Must meet criteria for low-income country and demonstrate financial need
• A letter of support from the chair or supervisor
